Cast Adrift...

...off the shores of Shotter's Nation - or so the Babyshambles song goes. What I really meant by 'cast adrift' was how much I've completely abandoned this blog since late-August, and so in some sense it has been 'cast adrift', not that I meant that to happen though....

So, what've I been upto? Started Uni is probably the main thing, had my first semester and first batch of uni exams and everything. All in all, it's gone pretty well I think. Exams were a bit of a wake up call that I do actually need to go to lectures, despite what I think I do or don't know/have already done - and caused a number of nights where I went without significant amounts of sleep. Interestingly enough, arguably my best exam was done on 2 hours sleep - whether it just seemed like it was the best at the time though and was actually a complete disaster, remains to be seen.

Christmas and new year were all fun, a bit on the drunken side, but fun none the less :) I eventually came to the sad conclusion that Christmas day itself is in fact pretty boring as days go. I much prefer birthdays, new years eve, that sort of thing. Had some good presents and just generally had a good laugh and a good break from revision (and by break I mean I did next to nothing for about a month...eek!)

So, what does Semester 2 hold for us then? Well, looking at the timetable....some Chemistry-looking module by the name of 'Gases, Liquids and Solids', a bit more maths, a bit more dynamics in the form of 'Advanced Dynamics', even the name of that module sends ripples of fear down my spine. (Well, it doesn't but it's a nice metaphor), then rounded off with some vibrations and waves and Electricity and Magnetism. All fun stuff.

Anyway, I just thought I'd post on here for the novelty of it really. You probably won't hear anything from me on this blog for about 6 months now lol.
